How does verification work?
The Aiprobase team manually checks the business registration number against the official public registry of the country of registration — for example, Companies House in the UK. Verification is valid for 12 months and renews with the annual payment. If the registration number changes, the profile is re-verified manually.
What formats does an Aiprobase profile use?
Every profile is published in three formats: an HTML page at aiprobase.com/p/{slug}, JSON-LD structured data in Schema.org vocabulary embedded in the page and available as a separate endpoint, and a Markdown version at aiprobase.com/p/{slug}.md. Profile owners can also download the JSON-LD file to place on their own website.
Does Aiprobase guarantee visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity, or other AI assistants?
No. No service can guarantee that an AI assistant will cite a specific source. What Aiprobase does is publish the business's facts in openly crawlable, machine-readable formats at a stable URL, and submit Verified profiles to search indexes — so when an AI system looks for information about the business, an authoritative, owner-controlled source exists for it to read.
Who is Aiprobase for?
Aiprobase supports four profile types: individual specialists and freelancers, local businesses with a physical location, online businesses, and registered corporations. The profile structure adapts to the type — for example, local businesses always publish a full street address, while freelancers can show only city and country.
Do I need my own website to use Aiprobase?
No. An Aiprobase profile is a standalone public page and can serve as a business's primary web presence. If the business does have a website, the profile links to it, and the owner can download a website-ready JSON-LD version to embed on their own domain.
Can I edit or delete my profile?
Yes, at any time. Edits go live immediately through a secure email link, with no password required. On deletion, the profile URL returns HTTP 410 Gone — an explicit signal that tells search engines and AI crawlers to drop the page from their indexes.
How is Aiprobase different from a business directory or Google Business Profile?
Directories and closed platforms hold business data inside their own systems, and most are not openly readable by external AI crawlers. An Aiprobase profile is the opposite: open by design, published in standard machine-readable formats under the owner's control, and usable by any AI system, not just one platform.
